Vorwerk

Originating in Germany in the early 1900s, the Vorwerk is a rare and beautiful heritage breed known for its striking golden buff body contrasted by a rich black head, neck, and tail. They have a single comb, white earlobes, and slate gray legs. 

• Heat and cold tolerant
• Excellent layers of medium sized cream/tan eggs 
• Friendly, not too flighty 
• Rarely broody
